The WAFT / How to WAFT

How to use each format.

Same brand. Different scent behaviours. Choose the format based on what you need the room, car, fabric or skin to do.

The short version

Pick the behaviour before you pick the scent.

A candle, mist, wax melt, diffuser oil and reed diffuser do not behave the same way. Some are instant. Some are slow. Some are continuous. Some are skin-close. This guide helps you choose the right WAFT format before your cart becomes a group project.

Use case guide

What are you trying to fix?

The room needs help now.

Use a room and linen mist for instant refresh, or a wax melt if you want faster room-filling scent that lasts longer than a quick spray.

You want atmosphere.

Use a soy blend candle. The flame, melt pool and gradual scent development create a slower, more intentional mood.

You want scent without thinking.

Use a reed diffuser. It sits in the background and keeps the room gently scented without daily effort.

You want control.

Use diffuser oils. Adjust the number of drops depending on room size, airflow and how loud you want the scent to be.

You want something personal.

Use Body Language. These products are skin-close and functional — not designed to scent the room, but to support small daily rituals.

Room matching

The room matters. Unfortunately, it has opinions.

Bedroom

Use mists, candles, reed diffusers or softer diffuser oil use. Choose calm, clean, soft or warm scents depending on the mood.

Bathroom

Use reed diffusers or room mists. This is where low-maintenance continuous fragrance earns its rent.

Kitchen

Use fresh mists, wax melts or diffuser oils. Citrus, green and herbal scent profiles work better here than heavy sweetness.

Lounge

Use candles, wax melts or diffuser oils. This is where bigger scent personalities can behave properly.

One important thing.

More scent is not always better. Start smaller, especially in bedrooms, bathrooms, cars and small rooms. A good fragrance should hold the space, not attack everyone who enters it.

Format rules

Use it properly. Your room will thank you quietly.

Candles

Let the first burn reach close to the edges to reduce tunnelling. Trim the wick before each burn. Never leave a candle unattended.

Wax Melts

Use in a suitable warmer. Do not add water. Replace the wax when the scent fades. Let the wax cool before removing.

Mists

Spray into the air or onto suitable fabrics from a distance. Patch test delicate fabrics first. Avoid polished surfaces and direct contact with eyes or skin.

Diffuser Oils

Use only with compatible diffusers or burners. Start with fewer drops. Keep away from children, pets, polished surfaces and direct skin contact.

Reed Diffusers

Place on a stable surface. Flip reeds carefully over a sink or protected surface. Keep away from children, pets and direct heat.

Body Care

Use as directed per product. Dry Tax is for dry skin and healed tattoos, not fresh open tattoo wounds. Patch test if sensitive.

Still unsure?

Start with the format you will actually use.

If you like ritual, choose candles. If you want fast impact, choose wax melts. If you need instant reset, choose mists. If you want ongoing background scent, choose reed diffusers. If you want control, choose diffuser oils. If it is for skin, choose Body Language.
